The software running repository mirroring & CI system will be subject
to major upgrade today, involving switch from Python 2 to Python 3
and a corresponding major PkgCore upgrade.  Throughout the process
individual services will be stopped as necessary for a clean upgrade
process and testing.

At the moment, the following services are stopped:

- updates to git syncing mirrors,

- CI runs of the master branch of the Gentoo repository.

Pull request testing will still be conducted.  It will be subject
to the upgrade later on.

#### Update (15:00 UTC)

The CI run found multiple new problems and is currently busy bisecting
a large set of commits.  This is delaying restoring the normal
operation.

#### Update (16:40 UTC)

The new version introduced major regressions, so the upgrade has been
reverted.  The old version is now operational again.
